California SAR State Challenge

At the 2023 Annual Congress in Orlando, a commitment was announced by then-State President Jim Klingler on behalf of the California SAR for a donation of $100,000 to be paid over 4 years to support the SAR Education Center and Museum.   At the same time, a payment of $25,000 was made toward that commitment, as well as an individual commitment by Compatriot Dan McKelvie to match that payment.  Compatriot Klingler challenged all other state societies to make their own pledge.
