Independence is Coming!
The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and the SAR Foundation are pleased to announce plans for the SAR Education Center and Museum in Louisville, Kentucky. The SAR Education Center and Museum will tell the story of the American Revolution, and the fight for freedom for all Americans. The SAR Education Center and Museum will encourage a personal connection with the past, and highlight how the struggle to achieve our civil liberties 250 years ago still resonates today. Each carefully crafted element of the SAR Education Center and Museum – from sweeping graphics to interactive, technological displays – will be thoughtfully designed to educate and inform visitors about the American Revolution.
The SAR Education Center and Museum will make the story of the American Revolution accessible to new audiences of all ages. Please enjoy the video below to learn about the most recent updates to the design for this once in a lifetime project.
If you have not yet done so please consider making a gift to support the SAR Education Center and Museum. Gifts of all sizes have an impact. Naming opportunities are available at qualifying levels. There is simply no better way to honor our patriot ancestors than by preserving and sharing their legacy of liberty.
